Israeli settlers fired Thursday evening, March 2, 2023 live bullets at Palestinian citizens in the Arab al-Malehat community, to the west of occupied Jericho.
The general supervisor of the “Al-Baydar” Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, Hassan Malihat, stated that a number of armed Israeli settlers stormed the area of Al-Malehat and fired live bullets at Palestinian citizens there, adding that they are still present in the area.
Earlier today, Israeli settlers forced sheep shepherds in the Al-Maarajat area, to the west of Jericho, to leave the pastures, at gunpoint.
It’s noteworthy that Israeli occupation forces stormed today’s morning the Aqabat Jabr camp in Jericho, and surrounded a house, before withdrawing from the camp. As a result, violent confrontations broke out between Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation soldiers, who fired live bullets and tear gas canisters at Palestinian civilians, causing injuries.
