The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained Thursday evening, March 2, 2023 a Palestinian citizen in the northeast of the Gaza Strip, that his identity has not yet been determined.
Few days ago, the occupation forces detained four Palestinian citizens from the same area, as they arrest and in a repeated manner any Palestinian citizen who approaches the area.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces have detained dozens of Palestinian citizens over the past years along the separating fence in the north and east of the Gaza Strip, in addition to the kidnap of many others at Beit Hanoun “Erez” checkpoint in the north of the Strip.
Note that 4,500 Palestinians are currently detained inside Israeli occupation prisons, including 400 who have severe and chronic illnesses, 31 women, and 500 administrative detainees.
In the absence of strong pressure to stop the systemic inhumane abuses, the racist and fascist policies of the Prison Service Administration have a negative impact on Palestinian detainees.
