DaysofPal- Israeli settlers carried out a series of coordinated attacks on Palestinian property and civilians across several areas of the occupied West Bank early Monday, with the most serious incidents reported in Nablus governorate and the Masafer Yatta region south of Hebron, local sources said.
In the town of Aqraba, southeast of Nablus, settlers set fire at dawn to an agricultural shack in the Wadi al-Haj Issa area, destroying it completely.
The incident was part of a broader wave of attacks that also struck the nearby village of Jurish
Palestinian Residents said the settlers’ assaults were intended to intimidate families and pressure them to leave their land.
Additional fires were reported in Wadi al-Haj Issa on the outskirts of Aqraba, where settler groups burned another home, heightening fear and insecurity among local residents.
According to local sources In the Masafer Yatta area of Hebron governorate, a group of settlers severely assaulted a child in Khirbet al-Raqoum.
In a separate incident, settlers attempted to run over children in Khirbet al-Halawa, south of Hebron.
Settler groups also targeted livelihoods in the area, where armed settlers reportedly blocked shepherds in Khirbet Salama from accessing grazing lands and attacked farmers while they were plowing their fields.
Further in Bedouin communities east of Jerusalem, settlers launched a campaign of harassment.
Human rights sources said settlers raided residential communities, photographed homes, and threatened residents with forced displacement, alongside ongoing incidents of livestock theft and vandalism of water infrastructure.
The latest attacks come amid reports of a sharp rise in settler violence across the West Bank.
Rights organizations say hundreds of violations have been documented so far this month, including arson attacks on vehicles and crops, assaults on Palestinian civilians, and attacks targeting foreign solidarity activists.
Palestinian officials and human rights groups say the violence is part of a broader effort to impose new facts on the ground, expand illegal settlement outposts, and further entrench control over Palestinian land.
