Israeli Settlers, Forces Attack Palestinians during Eid

M.Y | DOP -

Israeli colonial settlers on Saturday, July 9, marking the first day of Muslims’ Eid Al-Adha, attacked Palestinian citizens in different parts of the occupied West Bank.

A group of Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli troops, attacked Palestinian homes in the Jaber neighborhood in Hebron. Moreover, the Israeli troops who protected the settlers fired tear gas and stun grenades at the Palestinian houses, on Saturday morning.

Local sources revealed that the Israeli settlers frequently attack the Jaber neighborhood in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron as the neighborhood is located adjacent to the “Kiryat Arba” settlement, which is built on Palestinian land in Hebron.

In Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation troops forced a Palestinian kid to take off his shirt at the entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, south of the city, claiming that it had been painted with a rifle.

Moreover, confrontations broke out in Nablus and Qalqilya as Israeli occupation forces broke into the cities and fired tear gas canisters.

During last June, the Israeli occupation forces committed 2,510 violations against the Palestinians, killing 13 civilians.  Meanwhile, 620 Palestinians have been wounded by the occupation forces and settlers’ fire
