Extremist Israeli settlers attacked Saturday night, December 17, 2022 Palestinian vehicles with stones in the town of Huwwara, in the northern West Bank province of Nablus, according to local sources.
Ghassan Daghlas, a local Palestinian activist, said that groups of rampaging Israeli settlers pelted stones at Palestinian-owned vehicles passing near the town, causing damage to some of them but no injuries.
Settlers’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is done under the full guard of Israeli occupation forces.
Settlers’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
There are over 800,000 Israeli settlers living in colonial settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
