The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) invaded Sunday, December 18, 2022 the old Askar refugee camp in Nablus, surrounded a house and demanded that one of the Palestinian citizens turn himself in.
The occupation forces, with military reinforcements, stormed the camp, surrounded a house belonging to Al-Naqib family, and the Israeli snipers climbed onto the roofs of the houses, amid clashes that included heavy shooting and tear gas canisters.
According to local sources, the Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the old Askar camp in Nablus, after arresting the Palestinian citizen Nasser Al-Naqeeb and his son Muhammad, and the invasion resulted in one of them being shot.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that at least a Palestinian man was wounded by live bullets and 7 cases of gas suffocation, including a pregnant woman, during the invasion of the camp.
