Israeli settlers attacked and stoned a Palestinian mosque in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, on Sunday morning, February 19, 2023.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli settlers stoned the Al-Sunniya mosque after invading the Old City of occupied Hebron.
Israeli settlers, aiming at seizing the mosque, regularly carry out attacks against the Sunniya mosque, targeting it with stones.
Earlier in 2022, the Israeli occupation authorities closed the roads leading to Al-Sunnyia mosque except for one. The move came to prevent Palestinian worshipers from reaching the mosque or praying in it.
Al-Sunnyia mosque was one of 15 Palestinian mosques attacked by Israeli settlers and forces in the occupied West Bank in 2023.
