Confrontations with Israeli occupation forces broke out Saturday evening, July 22, 2023, while they were securing Israeli settlers’ attack on Palestinian citizens’ homes in the village of Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya, northwest of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that a group of Israeli settlers attacked the house of the Palestinian citizen Mohammed Saleh Shreiteh in the Harasheh area of the village with stones, causing serious damage to his house.
Sources added that the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at Palestinian citizens who tried to confront settlers’ attack, which led to the outbreak of confrontations, without any injuries being reported.
According to latest Amnesty International reports, Israeli settlers have been violating Palestinians’ right of life, as Israeli forces and security guards have unlawfully killed and injured many Palestinian civilians including during protests against the confiscation of land and the construction of settlements.
It’s worth noting that more than 650,000 colonial settlers are distributed among 164 illegal settlements and 124 outposts built on the stolen lands of occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
