A group of Israeli settlers launched on Sunday, July 9, 2023, an attack on Palestinian farmers in the Arab community of Al-Ka’abneh, west of the city of Jericho.
The settlers not only vandalized agricultural lands belonging to the villagers but also contaminated their designated drinking water supply.
According to Hassan Mleihat, the General Supervisor of the “Beidar” organization for Bedouin rights, several settlers targeted the homes of Palestinian brothers Eid and Ayed Ahmed Faza’a Ka’abneh.
They unleashed their cattle onto the brothers’ olive groves and trees, resulting in extensive damage to their crops.
Mleihat further revealed that the settlers deliberately inserted an unidentified substance into the water tank allocated to the villagers, leading to its contamination.
This incident has sparked fear and panic among Palestinians in the village.
