An Israeli settler sustained injuries from a shooting incident in the northern area of Ramallah in the West Bank on Tuesday morning.
Israeli Channel Seven reported that a 28-year-old Israeli settler was hit by gunshots coming from a car moving along Route 60 in Binyamin, close to Oyoun al-Haramiya.
An Israeli ambulance reported that they transported a settler with a moderate gunshot wound in the hand to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
The Israeli website “Srugim” reported that the shooters were able to flee the scene, and the Israeli occupation forces is currently undertaking a search to locate them.
According to Ynet, the shooting occurred that was aimed at Israeli settlers who were taking part in activities to commemorate fallen Israeli soldiers.
Israeli occupation forces established checkpoints near Oyoun Al-Haramieh and blocked off the Atara checkpoint to the north of Ramallah.
