Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained Tuesday, April 25, 2023, a Turkish woman and one of the guards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque near the Bab Al-Rahma (Mercy Gate) chapel, while Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa mosque protected by the Israeli forces.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem stated that the Israeli occupation forces detained a Turkish young woman from the Al-Aqsa mosque due to her presence near Bab Al-Rahma.
They also detained one of the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jadallah Al-Ghoul, while trying to defend a Palestinian woman assaulted by the Israeli troops near the Bab Al-Rahma chapel.

Yesterday, Monday, Israeli occupation troops stormed the Bab Al-Rahma (Gate of Mercy) chapel in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and confiscated many of its contents.
On Saturday morning, April 22, the second day of Eid Al-Fitr, the occupation forces stormed the Bab al-Rahma chapel, took off the electricity cables, and broke the fans and lights. In the evening, the electric cables inside the chapel were repaired.
