Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) set up Sunday, April 9, 2023, a number of military checkpoints south of occupied Jenin, raided the villages of Al-Jalama, Taanak, and Zuba, and intensified their military presence.
Local sources said that the occupation forces set up mobile military checkpoints on Jenin-Nablus Street, and in the vicinity of the towns of Silat al-Dhahr, Arraba, Ya`bad, Kafirt, Ujja, and Jaba’.
In addition to the closure of the entrance to the village of Marka, IOF also checked Palestinian citizens’ cards, which restricted their movement and led to violent confrontations near the entrance to the town of Jaba.
The occupation forces implement, on a daily basis, systematic brutal policies against the Palestinian people with the aim of turning life in Palestinian cities into hell, in a deliberate attempt to obstruct the daily life of its people.
