DaysofPal – The security unit affiliated with the resistance in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday that attempts to establish collaborator gangs inside the territory have failed since their earliest stages.
The “Radaa” Unit, the field arm of Resistance Security, said in a statement that public awareness was crucial in preventing Israeli attempts to weaken Gaza’s internal front and spread chaos. The unit stressed that community vigilance prevented these schemes from gaining traction.
The statement noted that the next phase will focus on clearing the Gaza Strip of remaining members of collaborator groups. It said these groups are nearing their end and that holding those involved accountable is only a matter of time.
Radaa confirmed that it is closely monitoring the issue and urged individuals involved in such activities to surrender before it is too late and to resolve their cases through established legal channels.
The unit also praised initiatives taken by families who handed over their sons and cooperated with authorities to settle their security files in accordance with the law, describing this cooperation as a responsible step that supports social stability and protects the internal front.
In a related context, Israeli military affairs analyst Avi Issacharoff, who previously headed a subcommittee in the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, acknowledged the failure of Israel’s reliance on local gangs in Gaza. Writing in the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth under the title “The Start of the Second Phase: One Failure After Another,” Issacharoff said Israel’s government failed to develop a strategic plan for the post-war phase in Gaza, leaving behind an administrative and security vacuum.
He warned that this failure reproduces past crises, increases future risks, and makes any potential escalation more dangerous. Issacharoff concluded that preparing for the post-war period is essential to maintaining security and regional stability.
With assistance from the United States and Europe, Israeli forces have been carrying out acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, including murder, starvation, destruction, displacement, and arbitrary arrests, ignoring international appeals and rulings by the International Court of Justice to halt these actions.
