Israeli occupation forces IOF notified 7 Palestinian families to expel them from their own homes in the Jordan Valley on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
Local sources reported that IOF handed over expulsion orders to seven Palestinian families in Khirbet Humsa in Tubas, northeast of the occupied West Bank.
The expulsion came under the pretext that the Israeli occupation forces would carry out 10-day military exercises in the area, the sources added.
Palestinian activist Azem Hajj Ahmed said that the expulsion will cause massive losses to the Palestinian farmers and their agricultural crops.
He added that the Palestinian structures, properties, and crops, which are expected to come under Israeli fire, will sustain damages.
Israeli settlers and forces, aiming at seizing the whole area, systematically carried out attacks and demolitions against the Palestinian lands in Jordan Valley.
The Jordan Valley’s lands, threatened with annexation by the Israeli new government, comprise a third of the occupied West Bank.
