Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces extended the administrative detention of journalist Bushra Al-Taweel from Ramallah for three months.

28-year-old Journalist Bushra was arrested several times by Israeli forces. on March 22, 2022, Bushra was arrested for the fourth time in a row at a checkpoint in Nablus.

Journalist Bushra was arrested for the first time in 2011, while still in high school, and was sentenced to 16 months in jail. She was released as part of a Wafaa Al-Ahrar deal later that year.

The Palestine Center for Prisoner Studies has recently confirmed that the number of administrative prisoners in Israeli prisons has been clearly increasing, reaching more than 730 prisoners, including women, minors, and journalists.
