Wa’ed Association for Prisoners said Thursday December, 22, 2022 that the Israeli occupation refuses to provide treatment for the cancer-stricken prisoner Walid Daqqa, despite the fact that two months have passed since he was diagnosed with a rare cancerous disease, and his family is in the process of filing an appeal with the court to allow him to receive the necessary medicines to cope with his deadly disease.
The association added that the Israel occupation returned the prisoner Daqqa to Ashkelon prison, refusing to keep him in a suitable place to receive medical care. The prisoner, Daqqa, complains of increasing pain all over his body, and his fellow prisoners take care of him.
It is noteworthy that the prisoner is in constant need of blood units, as he suffers from the loss of units in a record short time, and the occupation is delaying the transfer of blood units to him, despite the willingness of his fellow prisoners to donate.
