Israeli Occupation Planes Spray Toxic Chemicals on Gaza’s Agricultural Land

Days of Palestine -

Israeli occupation planes sprayed toxic chemicals, including herbicides, at least twice last week on Gaza’s agricultural lands, destroying the crops.

Israeli occupation planes, for more than a decade, sprayed Gaza’s farmlands several times a year, causing the destruction of various crops, and leading to long-lasting effects on the environment.

Israeli occupation sprays what it described as weed killers under the pretext of security reasons. However, experts say that the Israeli regime aims to destroy the livelihoods of Gaza’s farmers, making the situation in the strip worse and harming vital sources of food.
