The first week of September 2022 has seen a steep rise in Israeli violence against Palestinians as Israeli occupation forces escalated their attacks against Palestinians, especially in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli occupation forces IOF escalated their raids and military campaigns in the West Bank, resulting in the killing of 6 Palestinian youths during the first seven days of September 2022. Meanwhile, a Palestinian detainee was pronounced dead of deliberate medical negligence in Israeli prisons.
On the 1st day of September 2022, Israeli occupation forces carried out a barbaric incursion into the West Bank city of Nablus, murdering the Palestinian youth Samer Khalid, 25.
According to the Palestinian ministry of health, Samer Khaled, 25, from al-Ain camp in Nablus, was fatally shot in the neck during an Israeli raid on the Balata refugee camp in occupied Nablus.
Two hours later, Israeli occupation troops shot in the chest and killed Yazan Afana, 26, a resident of Qalandia in occupied Jerusalem, following an Israeli raid in Al-Beirah, near the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
Fadi Ghattas, 19, was pronounced dead on September 2 after being shot by Israeli troops near Beit Einoun village, northeast of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Ghattas was shot for allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack against Israeli soldiers. Israeli forces left Ghattas to bleed for hours, preventing medical crews from reaching him.
In addition, Musa Abu Muhamid, 40, was proclaimed dead as a result of medical negligence deliberately practiced against him in Israeli prisons.
His family reported that he was suffering from a neurological disorder before his arrest, and the detention worsened his health conditions.
The death of Musa Muhamid brings the total number of Palestinians who have died in Israeli prisons since 1967 to 231.
On the 5th of September, Taher Zakarna, 19, succumbed to critical wounds he sustained after he was fatally shot with three live bullets by Israeli forces invading Qabatia in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
Yesterday, Israeli forces killed Mohammed Sabaaneh, 29, while he was live on Tik Tok covering the Israeli raid in Jenin. Sabaaneh was the second Palestinian to be killed by Israeli forces in Jenin over the past seven days.
Palestinian youth Younis Tayeh was the latest victim of Israeli barbaric raids in the occupied West Bank.
Earlier today, Israeli occupation troops murdered 20-year-old Younis Tayeh following a military incursion into the West Bank city of Tubas.
Ministry of Health in Palestine said that Younis had been killed after being shot in the chest on Wednesday in the al-Faraa refugee camp, a few kilometers south of Tubas city.
Since the start of 2022, Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out barbaric military raids in the occupied West Bank, terrorizing Palestinian families and killing dozens of Palestinians.
