Israeli Occupation Intensifies Its Siege on Occupied Nablus Cities

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) intensified Monday, February 27, 2023 their siege around occupied Nablus governorate cities that has reached its peak yesterday’s evening as Israeli settlers burnt Palestinians’ homes, cars and injured more than 300 Palestinians.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces are still closing the checkpoints of Hawwara, Awarta, Al-Murabaa Road and Za’tara, in addition to the entrance to Beita south of Nablus. Moreover, they are still obstructing the movement of Palestinian citizens at the entrance to the town of Surra, southwest of the city.

Israeli Jewish settlers attacked Sunday, February 26, 2023 Palestinian city of Huwwara in occupied Nablus and sat fire to dozens of Palestinian houses and vehicles, resulting in numerous cases of suffocation, as well as injuries of more than 100 Palestinian citizens.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that 37–year–old Sameh Hamdallah Mahmoud Aqtash succumbed to serious injuries sustained from live ammunition to the abdomen inflicted by the aggression of the Israeli forces and settlers in the town of Za‘tara, located south of Nablus.
