Israeli occupation forces IOF opened fire at a group of Palestinian students and an electricity network in occupied Hebron on Monday morning, February 27, 2023.
Palestinian media sources reported that IOF targeted a group of schoolchildren with live bullets while heading to their school in the Al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.
No injuries were reported. However, the Israeli attacks caused panic and terror among Palestinian schoolchildren.
In a related development, the IOF opened fire at Al-Aroub camp’s electricity network, north of occupied Hebron.
Palestinian sources said that the electricity was cut off in the camp as the Israeli live bullets hit the Network directly.
These assaults came following waves of barbaric attacks carried out last night by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, mainly in Nablus.
The fierce attacks in Nablus caused the death of one Palestinian and the injury of a hundred others. Settlers also set fire to dozens of Palestinian homes and vehicles.
About 700,000 Israeli settlers live currently in more than 200 settlements built on Palestinian land considered illegal under international law.
Palestinian figures showed that Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out 700 attacks against Palestinians and their properties in the occupied West Bank in January 2023.
The attacks included assaulting Palestinians, uprooting trees, razing lands, seizing properties, burning and vandalizing vehicles, and closing roads.
