Israeli Occupation Forces Storm Beita, Injure Palestinian Citizens

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled on Friday, 24 March 2023 the weekly anti-settlement rallies in various villages of occuiped West Bank, injuring dozens of Palestinian citizens.

According to local Palestinian sources, Israeli occupation forces broke out in Kafr Qaddum and Beit Dajan villages and attacked Palestinain participants in anti-settlement marches staged following Friday prayers.

In Qalqilya, the Israeli occupation forces suppressed the Kafr Qaddum anti-settlement march, which began after Friday prayers at the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque in the center of the village. Israeli troopers fired rubber bullets and poisonous gas bombs at Palestinian youth.

The village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, witnessed confrontations after the launch of a weekly anti-settlement march in the town, during which the Israeli occupation forces suppressed Palestinain citizens and journalists with a barrage of rubber bullets and poisonous gas bombs.

Red Crescent said that 10 Palestinain young protesters were injured by rubber bullets and many others suffered from inhaling tear gas during the events.

Various occupied West Bank and Jerusalem villages witnessed weekly anti-settlement activities, punctuated by confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces, who fired live and rubber bullets and poisonous gas bombs at Palestinian peaceful protesters.
