Israeli occupation forces detained, at dawn today, Friday, December 9, 2022, three Palestinian young men from the town of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah.
Local Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces detain the Palestinian youths Alaa Al-Rimawi, Mahmoud Al-Rimawi, and Abdul Karim Al-Rimawi, after raiding and searching their homes in the town without prior notice.
It is noteworthy that the young Diaa Mohammad al-Rimawi, from the town of Beit Rima, was killed yesterday, Thursday, by the occupation forces, during their attack on Palestinian citizens near the village of Aboud, adjacent to the town.
These arrests fall under the framework of the policy of collective punishment practiced by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians without any legal reason to do so except to impose more restrictions on the Palestinians and deprive them of their freedom.
Last November, Israeli occupation forces detained 380 Palestinian citizens, including 41 children and 11 women, from various Palestinian cities according to Palestine Center for Prisoner Studies.
