Israeli warplanes launched several missiles in the vicinity of the Syrian city of Homs, Syrian media reported on Saturday night, July 1, 2023.
Syria’s state news agency, SANA, said the Israeli missiles, targeting several sites near Homs, resulted in material losses.
SANA pointed out that Syrian air defenses responded to the Israeli aggression while Israeli media confined that an air-craft missile exploded over the city of Rahat.
In addition, SANA quoted a Syrian Army statement saying that the air defenses downed most of the missiles in the central parts of the country.
Israeli occupation warplanes have escalated attacks on Syrian airports and air bases, causing injuries and material damage.
