The Israeli Occupation Court postponed on the morning of Tuesday, November 22, 2022, the trial session of the Palestinian journalist, Lama Ghosheh, until December 20.
The Palestinian Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated that the occupation court adjourned the journalist Ghosheh court, provided that the same conditions remain, the continuation of house arrest and the prohibition of using her phone and social media.
On September 13, the Israeli occupation authorities released the journalist, Ghosheh, from Jerusalem, from the Israeli “Damon” prison, on the condition that she be prevented from using social media, and transferred to house arrest.
The occupation forces detained her on September 4, after they stormed her home and seized her phone and computer. The court extended her detention several times, before deciding to release her.
It’s noteworthy that the Israeli occupation pursues and detains Palestinian activists and influencers in order to prevent them from exposing the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people and suppressing freedom of the press, which violates international law and norms.
