The Israeli occupation navy attacked on Thursday, September 22, 2022, a Palestinian fisherman while fishing offshore northern Gaza.
A spokesman of Palestinian Fishermen Syndicate, Zakaria Bakr, said that the occupation warships opened fire with automatic weapons towards a Palestinian fishing boat belonging to a citizen from Al-Habil family, without reporting any injuries.
He indicated that “the Israeli warships surrounded the Palestinian boat and opened fire towards it in the west of the Al-Waha area in the northern Gaza Strip, and the siege lasted for more than half an hour.”
Continuously, the occupation warships attack Palestinian fishermen, confiscate their boats, and prevent them from practicing the profession of fishing in a normal and safe manner.
