Israeli occupation forces murdered today Thursday, December 8, 2022, 3 Palestinian youths during an Israeli military incursion on the center of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, which raised the number of Palestinians in 2022 to 216 according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health
In a brief statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that Israeli forces killed three young Palestinian men at dawn today, during the Israeli aggression on Jenin.
According to the Ministry, the three killed young men are Tariq Al-Damej, Sidqi Zakarneh, and Atta Shalabi.
With the murder of three Palestinians in Jenin today, the number of Palestinian martyrs killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of December has risen to 8.
Field Execution
The occupation forces raided several areas in Jenin and attacked Palestinian citizens, which led to the breakout of confrontations in the city, especially in the main roundabout area.
The Israeli forces shot and executed two young men who were in a civilian vehicle near the main roundabout and a coffee shop. At the same time, an Israeli sniper targeted another young man, seriously wounding him in the head, and he succumbed shortly later.
Palestinian eyewitnesses confirmed that what happened was a field execution of 3 young men in the center of Jenin.
Trying to reach the two Palestinian martyrs, a Palestinian ambulance was attacked by Israeli forces who opened fire at it and prevented it to reach them.

In response to the Israeli crimes, Palestinian freedom fighters confronted the Israeli forces and military vehicles and targeted them with bullets and homemade bombs.
Violent Confrontations
The “Jenin Brigade”, a Palestinian resistance group, said in a statement that its freedom fighters confronted the occupation forces as soon as they entered the vicinity of Jenin camp, and opened fire at them.
It continued, “Our freedom fighters confronted the occupation forces in more than one point, the cemetery, the camp square, the military street, and the vicinity of the target area, and they attacked the occupation forces with bullets.”

A comprehensive strike in Jenin
Today, the national and Islamic forces in Jenin announced the comprehensive strike and the suspension of studies, to mourn the souls of the martyrs, and to condemn the continuous crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people.
It called on all Palestinian citizens to participate in the funeral of their bodies.

216 martyrs since the beginning of the year
With the murder of three Palestinians in Jenin today, the number of Palestinian martyrs killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of December has risen to 8 in the West Bank, including two from the city of Jenin and a third from Ramallah.
Last November, Israeli forces killed 20 Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem, including 6 children and a girl.
According to the local sources, 5 of the martyrs who were killed last November were in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, 5 in Jenin, 4 in Nablus, while 3 Palestinians were killed in Jerusalem, 2 in Hebron, and one in Salfit.
With the martyrdom of the three Palestinian young men in Jenin and, the number of martyrs since the beginning of this year has risen to 216, including 164 in the West Bank and 52 in the Gaza Strip.
