Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened gunfire and shot dead Friday morning, June 9, 2023, a Palestinian young man near the Rantis military checkpoint, west of Ramallah.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that it had been informed by the General Authority of Civil Affairs of the death of the young man, Mahdi Samir Muhammad Bayadsa, 29, near the Rantis military checkpoint, west of Ramallah.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Israeli occupation forces and settlers have killed 162 Palestinians so far in 2023.
