DaysofPal- The Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered its 727th day on Thursday, marked by a new wave of airstrikes, artillery bombardments, and civilian casualties, as the humanitarian crisis deepens across the besieged enclave.
Medical sources confirmed that dozens of civilians, including women and children, were killed or wounded in the latest Israeli attacks since dawn.
Hospitals reported mass casualties amid continued strikes on refugee camps, displaced families, and residential neighborhoods.
In one incident, Israeli occupation forces abducted nurse Tasneem Marwan Al-Hams, the daughter of Dr. Marwan Al-Hams who had himself been previously kidnapped by Israeli special units, near Al-Taybah camp west of Khan Yunis.
A woman was shot dead near the U.S. aid zone known as “Al-Tina” south of Khan Yunis, while child Abdullah Saleh Al-Nadar was killed in Gaza City after an Israeli drone dropped an explosive device near Al-Ustadh Tower.
Local sources reported that Israeli troops advanced to Al-Rasheed Street, where they erected dirt barriers and blocked traffic between Gaza City and southern areas.
This move came just one day after soldiers prevented displaced civilians from returning to their homes in the city.
Hospitals across central and southern Gaza recorded mounting casualties. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported receiving one martyr and more than ten wounded after a drone strike targeted civilians in Deir al-Balah.
Al-Awda Hospital in Al-Nuseirat said it had documented nine martyrs and 13 injuries over the past 24 hours as a result of continuous Israeli raids on refugee camps and displaced groups moving south along Al-Rasheed Street.
In Rafah, a young girl was critically wounded after being shot in the head by Israeli forces in the Al-Mawasi area.
Elsewhere, Israeli artillery shelled areas northwest of Khan Yunis. Thirteen more people were injured when a drone strike hit tents belonging to displaced families west of Deir al-Balah, while other strikes targeted a shelter tent inside Al-Aqsa University west of Khan Yunis. Heavy fire continued to pound neighborhoods in eastern Gaza, and drones dropped explosives on rooftops in the Al-Maghrabi area and Al-Sabra neighborhood of southern Gaza City, apparently in preparation for demolitions.
The Israeli attacks come as Gaza faces catastrophic humanitarian conditions. According to local authorities, the war has so far claimed the lives of 66,148 Palestinians, injured 168,716, and left more than 9,000 missing.
Over two million people remain displaced, enduring famine, widespread destruction, and the near-total collapse of humanitarian relief.
