Israeli Occupation Forces on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, fired tear gas canisters filled with toxic substances toward Palestinian farmers in the vicinity of Khan Yunis.
According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli forces, stationed behind the border barricade to the east of Khan Yunis, unleashed a barrage of live ammunition and poisonous tear gas toward the farmers.
These distressing events forced the farmers to evacuate their own lands under the looming threat of the Occupation Forces.
This unfortunate incident is not an isolated occurrence, as Israeli forces have consistently targeted farmers through the use of live ammunition and toxic gas. This has resulted in an ongoing restriction of their access to the bordering agricultural lands both to the north and east of the Gaza Strip.
