Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed on Tuesday, 15 August 2023 two Palestinians during a military raid into the occupied West Bank city of Jericho.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the 15-year-old Palestinian child Qusay Omar Suleiman Al-Walaji and the 25-year-old Palestinian man Muhammad Ribhi Nujoom were killed by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets during their aggression on the camp of Aqabat Jaber in Jericho.
For several months, the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out military raids in the occupied West Bank, concentrated in Nablus and Jenin.
According to Palestinian figures, Israeli forces killed more Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in 2023 than in any single calendar year since the Second Intifada.
Since the beginning of 2023, at least 227 Palestinian people have been killed in Israeli attacks across the occupied Palestinian lands 37 of whom were killed during the latest attacks on Gaza.
