Israeli naval vessels kiddnaped two Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Gaza City and confiscated their fishing boat.
Local sources revealed that Israeli naval troops launched an attack on a small fishing boat, encircling it approximately three miles off the Sudaneya area in the northwestern Gaza City’s waters.
The Israeli forces seized the boat and arrested the two fishermen on board, identified as Ra’fat Ali Al-Sultani (50 years old) and Mohammed Rafiq Al-Sultani (25 years old). The detained fishermen were then transported to the port of Ashdod.
The Israeli naval forces consistently engage in actions that disrupt the lives of fishermen in Gaza’s waters. Their actions include opening fire at fishermen, detaining them, damaging their fishing nets, confiscating their boats, and preventing them from pursuing their livelihoods as fishermen.
