An Israeli soldier shot and killed a Palestinian youth in the 1948-occupied town of Kafr Yasif in occupied Galilee on Sunday early morning, March 26, 2023.
Palestinian media sources reported that Omar Sawa’ed, 22, was shot by Israeli gunfire in his car in the occupied Kafr Yasif.
Israeli media sources said that an off-duty police officer opened fire at a car carrying several Palestinian passengers, seriously wounding Omar Sawa’ed.
22-year-old Omar sustained upper-body wounds, and he was proclaimed dead later as he arrived at the hospital, eyewitnesses reported.
The number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces so far in 2023 has reached 91, according to Days of Palestine’s data.
