DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces are enlarging a designated buffer area known as the yellow line further into residential parts of Gaza, constituting continued violations of the ceasefire, according to the head of a leading Palestinian civil society coalition.

Amjad al-Shawa, who chairs the Palestinian NGO Network, said Israeli forces currently control roughly 60% of Gaza’s land.

Speaking in comments carried by Palestine Online, he warned that the expanding zone is encroaching on civilian neighborhoods, heightening dangers for residents and tightening movement restrictions.

Al-Shawa also highlighted the worsening shelter crisis, stating that the Israeli forces have not permitted the entry of mobile housing units or caravans.

As a result, many displaced families remain in tents, exposed to difficult weather conditions.

In a separate statement, the Government Media Office in Gaza said breaches of the humanitarian protocol have sharply curtailed the flow of assistance.

Of the 72,000 aid, commercial, and fuel trucks scheduled to enter the enclave, only 31,178, about 43%, have arrived so far.

Officials said these deliveries included 17,945 humanitarian aid trucks, 12,402 commercial shipments, and 861 fuel tankers. Fuel deliveries remain particularly limited, with just 14% of the planned 6,000 shipments completed, averaging roughly 260 trucks per day overall.

The protocol had called for around 600 trucks daily, including 50 fuel tankers carrying diesel, gasoline, and cooking gas.

The media office further noted that the Israeli occupation is not respecting agreed withdrawal boundaries and of preventing the entry of materials needed to restore essential infrastructure.

Authorities warned that restricted land access, insufficient shelter supplies, and reduced aid flows are deepening the humanitarian crisis facing Gaza’s displaced population.
