Israeli occupation forces carried out Tuesday, August 29, military raids across the occupied West Banks, detaining many Palestinians and wounding others.
Local Palestinian sources reported that 29 Palestinian citizens have been detained by the Israeli troops, under the pretext of participating in resistance acts.
The Israeli raids were mainly in Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Nablus, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, and Jenin, where Israeli forces broke into dozens of Palestinians’ houses and vandalized their contents.
Consequently, confrontations erupted where Israeli troops fired live bullets and tear gas bombs at the Palestinian citizens, who responded by throwing small stones at the armed soldiers and vehicles.
Israeli armed units reportedly suffocated dozens of Palestinians with toxic gas bombs while an Israeli soldier was injured by Palestinians’ small stones.
