Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian home and injured 30 Palestinians in the Jerusalem town of Jabal Al-Mukaber on Monday morning, February 13.
On Monday morning, Israeli occupation forces and bulldozers invaded The Bashir neighborhood in Jabal Al-Mukaber town to demolish a Palestinian home, which triggered confrontations.
While demolishing the home, Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at Palestinian families who tried to confront the Israeli demolition.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said in a statement that 25 Palestinians were injured by Israeli rubber-coated metal bullets. Meanwhile, five others suffered breathing problems.
In addition, Israeli forces attacked and assaulted Palestinian women in the town and raided several Palestinian homes, media sources reported.
Furthermore, the Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinian youths in the vicinity of the demolished home. One was reported beaten and assaulted ahead of his arrest.
21 Palestinians are currently living in the Jerusalem town of Jabal Al-Mukaber. They survive daily incursions and attacks by Israeli occupation forces.
Israeli occupation forces regularly invade Palestinian homes in the town. During their raids, the IOF fire tear gas canisters and kidnap dozens.
Israeli occupation authorities are planning to demolish 80 residential units in Jabal Al-Mukaber and displace their owners, in favor of the settlement expansion.
