Israeli occupation bulldozers opened on Thursday, July 13, 2023, a new settlement road in the town of Kafr ad-Dik, west of Salfit.
The mayor of Kafr ad-Dik, Mohammed Naji, stated that two bulldozers belonging to the Israeli occupation constructed a 300-meter settlement road in the “Deirya” area, serving the “Bado’il” settlement built on Palestinian lands.
He added that confrontations erupted between the citizens and the occupation soldiers, who fired sound and tear gas bombs at them.
Naji pointed out that the land that was bulldozed for the settlement road belongs to the citizens: Othman Taha, Ahmed Ali Ahmed, and Atallah Abu Alawi.
Meanwhile, the governor of Salfit, Major General Abdullah Kamil, confirmed that the practices of the occupation forces and settler gangs, along with their attacks, have witnessed a significant escalation recently with the aim of seizing more lands for settlement expansion.
