Israeli occupation forces Thursday morning, July 13, 2023, opened fire on groups of Palestinian farmers in agricultural lands east of the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, the Israeli forces stationed in military observation towers behind the border fence east of Khan Yunis fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at the farmers in the Fakhari area east of the city, forcing them to leave their agricultural lands.
The Israeli occupation forces deliberately target farmers in the border agricultural lands in the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, and prevent them from accessing these lands.
