DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces have bombed and destroyed the 15-story Soussi residential tower in Gaza’s Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, continuing their campaign of flattening high-rise residential buildings as part of an intensified offensive aimed at occupying the city and forcibly displacing its people.
The urban center and displacing approximately one million people to the so-called “humanitarian zones” in the south of the Gaza Strip where dozens of people are killed and injured by Israeli forces everyday.
Palestinian Residents are forced to flee from place to place under intensive Israeli bombing that left hundreds of them killed and injured.
The Soussi Tower was destroyed just one day after the city’s highest tower block was also bombed, marking a rapid escalation in Israeli strikes targeting civilian infrastructure.
The tower stood opposite a United Nations agency building for Palestinian refugees, intensifying concerns about the risks to civilians and humanitarian operations in the area.
The United Nations estimates that around one million people remain in and around Gaza City, warning of an impending “disaster” if the Israeli offensive proceeds.
The ongoing bombardment and displacement have rendered much of Gaza City uninhabitable, as the destruction of residential buildings leaves families without shelter and access to basic services, including food and water.
The reality on the ground for the people of Gaza is dire, where hundreds of thousands of displaced and hungry individuals remain trapped in the city, unable to leave due to a lack of resources, food, and shelter.
Many families have no place to go, as they lack the means to relocate or even basic necessities such as tents.
The ongoing Israeli offensive has resulted in hundreds of daily casualties, with entire families being killed as the conflict intensifies.
The relentless Israeli assault is making life increasingly uninhabitable, with humanitarian organizations expressing grave concerns over the potential for a severe humanitarian disaster.
