DaysofPal- Two Palestinian brothers were killed and several others injured on Saturday morning after Israeli occupation forces opened fire in east Gaza City, according to local sources, in continued breach of the ceasefire.
The victims were identified as Fahmi and Saed Qadoumi, who were shot by Israeli forces in eastern Gaza City. Several others were wounded in the same incident, including one person reported to be in critical condition.
In a separate incident, another Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Witnesses reported that an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped explosive devices and opened fire in eastern parts of the city. At the same time, helicopter gunships and tanks reportedly fired toward areas east of the Tuffah neighborhood, accompanied by artillery shelling.
Further south, Israeli military vehicles were said to have opened heavy fire east and south of Khan Younis, continuing a pattern of attacks across different areas of the Gaza Strip.
Since October 10, Israeli occupation forces have continued to carry out air and artillery strikes and shootings across Gaza, despite the ceasefire agreement.
According to daily statistical reports documenting these violations, the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire has reached 692, including 202 children, 83 women, and 21 elderly people. More than 1,876 others have been injured.
The overall death toll since the start of the genocide in October 2023 has now risen to over 72,268, with at least 171,976 people wounded.
