The Israeli military court in Ofer issued Wednesday, May 24, 2023, a sentence of 7-year-imprisonment and a heavy fine of 2,000 shekels against the Palestinian prisoner Qusai Raed Malki.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club stated that the Palestinian prisoner Melki has been detained since 2020, and is today imprisoned in Ofer Israeli prison.
Israeli occupation is currently holding more than 1,000 Palestinian detainees without charge or trial, the highest number since 2003, according to the Israeli human rights group HaMoked.
Israeli occupation authorities currently hold more than 4900 Palestinians in prisons, including 160 children and 31 women.
