DaysofPal- Urgent action is needed to save defenseless civilians in the northern Gaza Strip, where Israeli forces are carrying out a real massacre for five days running.
Since October 5th, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have been carrying out a horrific massacre in the northern Gaza Strip, home to over 400,000 Palestinians.
The IOF atrocities being committed in the northern Gaza Strip included the indiscriminate killing, bombing of homes over their occupants, and blocking access to water and food supplies
However, many civilians were shot while leaving their homes, promoting several people to reject the Israeli evacuation orders.
The Palestinian Civil Defense Society announced that the ongoing Israeli attack on the northern Gaza has claimed the lives of at least 150 civilians, with hundreds more injured.
Additionally, dozens of people remain missing, while bodies were seen lying in the streets, unreachable by ambulance crews due to the relentless and indiscriminate bombing across the area.
The Government Media Office (GMO) has urged the international community to urgently intervene to halt Israeli crimes, warning that the situation in northern Gaza is approaching a critical phase of ethnic cleansing.
“Israeli occupation army forced 17,000 civilians and displaced persons to evacuate several displacement and shelter centers after directly bombing and targeting them,” the GMO added.
The GMO further stated that the Israeli occupation has been blocking food and water supplies from reaching the northern Gaza Strip, particularly Jabalia camp, for the past five days.
This, it said, reflects a clear strategy to escalate the genocide, whether through direct killing and bombing or by starving the population and preventing essential nourishment from reaching the northern governorate and Jabalia camp.
