DaysofPal- More than 22 Palestinians have been killed on Thursday morning after an Israeli airstrike targeted a school-turned-shelter in central Deir el-Balah.
At the time of writing, ambulances are streaming into the al-Aqsa Hospital and some bodies have arrived in pieces.
This is the latest in a series of Israeli raids on school buildings housing displaced people in Gaza, where tens of thousands of Palestinians driven from their homes by Israeli offensives and evacuation orders have taken shelter.

The Israeli occupation army claimed Hamas has been using civilian shelters for Gaza’s war-displaced as “command and control centers.”
Hospital officials affirmed, however, that the vast majority of victims in the latest Israeli strike are women and children.
In Gaza, at least 42,010 people have been killed and 97,720 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 2023.
Israel’s war has destroyed large areas of Gaza and displaced around 90 percent of its population of 2.3 million people, often multiple times.
