Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished on Tuesday, 12 September 2023 Palestinian-owned home in the city of Rahat in the occupied Negev.
Local Palestinain sources reported that well-armed Israeli troops invaded the Rahat city accompanied by military bulldozers and demolished a home owned by the Palestinian family of Al-Huzayel.
Local sources stated that Israeli forces demolished the home under the pretext of building without a permit.
Israeli troops surrounded the area where the home was located and prevented the Palestinian residents from reaching the area in order to carry out the demolition, sources added.
Israeli occupation escalated the demolition orders against the Palestinian homes and properties in the towns and villages in 1948 occupied Palestinian lands, aiming to force the Palestinian residents to leave their own lands under the pretext of building without a permit.
Since the start of 2023, Israeli occupation leveled 25 Palestinian-owned structures in 1948 occupied lands leaving its people homeless. They issued demolition orders against dozens of others, according to Palestinain figures.
