A group of Israeli armed settlers attacked several Palestinian families in Masafer Yatta, south of occupied Hebron on Friday evening, January 28.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, broke into the Sadat Al-Thala area in Masafer Yatta, terrorizing Palestinian families and children.
The sources added that the Israeli settlers chanted racist slogans and threatened to kill Palestinian residents in the area.
Media sources shared a video that documented the moment when settlers attacked Masafer Yatta’s families, causing panic among women and children.
Earlier in May 2022, the Israeli occupation Court lit a green light for the Israeli occupation forces the green to illegally displace up to 1,000 Palestinians in eight communities in Masafer Yatta.
This came after the Israeli occupation authorities declared Masafer Yatta a closed military zone. Several military exercises were carried out, which threatened the lives of Palestinians.
Settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, systematically attack Palestinian families, their lands, and properties in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli occupation officially took over the Palestinian lands in the West Bank and Jerusalem in 1967.
Currently, about 600,000 Israeli settlers live in over 230 illegal settlements built since 1967 in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
