Two Palestinians were injured on Friday evening, September 22, 2023, due to Israeli airstrikes on posts and agricultural lands in the eastern and central parts of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli drones targeted a resistance outpost east of Gaza City simultaneously with the presence of dozens of Palestinians demonstrating along the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip.
In addition, Israeli artillery targeted three posts belonging to the Palestinian resistance in both the eastern and central parts of the Gaza Strip.
Suppression and Violence
In a press release, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that at least 31 Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire and tear gas grenades while participating in protests along the eastern fence of the Gaza Strip.
On Friday evening, hundreds of Palestinian demonstrators took part in protests near the fence areas, expressing solidarity with Palestinian detainees and condemning Israeli assaults against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The protests also condemned the long-standing Israeli blockade imposed on Gaza since 2006. This blockade has significantly affected every aspect of life for Palestinian families and youths.
Israeli occupation forces met the demonstrations with violence and suppression, firing live ammunition and grenades at the participants. 31 were reported injured.
