Since the West Bank was occupied in 1967, Israeli settlers have been using all means to steal more and more Palestinian lands. About 450,000 Israeli colonials have settled in what is so called now “Area C” of the West Bank since the 1967.
Recently, Israeli settlers started infiltrating the Palestinian grazing areas for allegedly assuming shepherding. Later, they took over the lands, expelling the Palestinians.
The settler herders are often funded with grants and allocations by Israeli occupation government or other publicly funded bodies.
Currently, there are now 77 Israeli farms and shepherding outposts built over around 60,000 acres of the Palestinian lands the West Bank; 46 built in the last five years.
Israel fully controls 60% of the Palestinian lands in the West Bank. Meanwhile, Israeli settler shepherds now control 7% of the “Area C” of the West Bank.
