DaysofPal- Three Palestinians, including a 13-year-old child, were killed by Israeli occupation forces on Sunday amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement across various parts of the Gaza Strip, according to local and medical sources.
Local sources reported that 39-year-old Mohammed Ramzi Abu Hasira died from wounds sustained after being shot in the abdomen by Israeli occupation forces at the Saraya intersection in Gaza City on Saturday.
In a separate incident, 30-year-old Zaki Mohammed Al-Qara was killed on Sunday morning after being shot by Israeli occupation forces near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Amir Imad Al-Bashiti, 13, was killed just before midnight on Saturday after Israeli troops opened fire in the Al-Batn Al-Sameen neighborhood south of Khan Younis, according to medical sources. His death raised the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire across the Gaza Strip on Saturday alone to four.
Israeli naval ships shelled the waters off Gaza City, and Israeli occupation forces opened fire in the town of Beit Lahia in northwest Gaza.
Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement through air and artillery attacks targeting areas where displaced civilians are sheltering, as well as demolition and destruction operations within the area known as the “Yellow Line.” Restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel also remain in place.
According to data released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10 of last year has risen to 988, with 3,122 others injured. The ministry also reported 783 bodies recovered from previously inaccessible areas during the same period.
The overall toll of Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has reached approximately 72,998 Palestinians killed and 173,230 wounded, underscoring the heavy human cost of the ongoing conflict in the besieged enclave.
