DaysofPal- For the second consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces have escalated large-scale aggression against Jenin and its refugee camp, engaging in fierce clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters. The IOF has maintained a tight siege, blocking all camp entrances while drones continue to patrol overhead.
Renewed clashes erupted on Wednesday morning following a day of intense violence in Jenin, during which Israeli forces killed at least 10 Palestinians and injured around 100 others through relentless gunfire and aerial strikes, according to local sources.
The attacks forced approximately 600 residents to flee their homes, creating a growing humanitarian crisis.
Resistance fighters in Jenin have responded by detonating explosive devices and targeting IOF soldiers and vehicles with gunfire. Reports indicate that several Israeli soldiers have been injured during the ongoing operation.
In a separate development, the IOF kidnapped a wounded young man along with his father and brother, in addition to three other citizens, during a raid in the camp. Power outages caused by the Israeli assault have disrupted telecommunications and internet services, further isolating the area.
The Israeli military campaign, dubbed “Iron Wall,” was launched on Tuesday, targeting Jenin and its refugee camp. This large-scale operation followed an order for Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces to end their weeks-long raid in the area and withdraw.
In apparent coordination with Israeli forces, PA soldiers reportedly stormed a medical center in the village of Ajjah, searching for wounded individuals evacuated from Jenin City and the refugee camp. Additionally, PA forces kidnapped Ahmed Abu Amireh, a senior commander of the Jenin Brigade, during a raid in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
