DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces launched an extensive wave of raids and arrests early Monday across several areas in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, detaining around 30 Palestinians, including former prisoners and two minors. The operations involved house raids and damage to property, according to local sources.
Israeli forces concentrated the arrests in the town of Al-Issawiya in Jerusalem, as well as in Qalqilya, Nablus, Hebron, Ramallah, and Tubas. The campaign targeted several young men, former detainees, and children.
In Al-Issawiya, Israeli forces conducted a large-scale operation, arresting several residents after raiding their homes and damaging belongings inside. Local sources reported multiple detentions during the operation.
In Qalqilya, three former prisoners were detained, along with several others from the nearby town of Jiyus. Additional arrests were reported in Nablus, where two young men and a photographer were taken into custody.
In the Ramallah and al-Bireh area, Israeli forces detained a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old from the town of Beit Ur al-Tahta, along with two other young men from the village of Yabrud.
In Hebron, a wounded minor from Al-Arroub refugee camp was among those detained, in addition to several young men from the Masafer Yatta area. Another arrest was reported in Tubas, where a young man from the town of Tammun was taken into custody.
The Prisoners’ Media Office said the escalation in arrest campaigns, particularly those targeting former detainees and children, reflects a systematic policy aimed at increasing pressure on Palestinian society and undermining stability. It added that these operations form part of a broader pattern of ongoing violations across the occupied territories.
