DaysofPal- The Ministry of Health announced that four more people were killed and ten others wounded in the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources said that three people were killed and others were injured to varying degrees when an Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinians in the Al-Mazra’a area, east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, on Sunday evening.
The strike occurred near a school in a location known as “Site 14,” at the end of Abu Arif Street, an area that hosts both residents and displaced families and has experienced repeated waves of displacement due to ongoing threats.
A source at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah confirmed that the casualties were transported to the facility, where emergency teams treated the wounded. No official details have been released regarding the identities of the victims or the direct circumstances surrounding the strike.
Israeli artillery also shelled multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, including the Al-Shakoush area west of Rafah, eastern parts of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, and eastern areas of Khan Younis in the south.
In its latest statistical report issued Monday, the ministry said the total number of fatalities since the ceasefire on October 10 has risen to 754, with 2,100 injuries recorded. It also reported 760 bodies recovered during the same period.
The cumulative death toll since the beginning of the offensive on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,333, with 172,202 wounded.
The ministry added that several victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, noting that ambulance and civil defense teams are still unable to reach them due to ongoing conditions on the ground.
